First Visit to In The Deep
Welcome to In The Deep! Here's everything you need to know before your first visit.
How to find us
We're located at The Juniors Fitness Club, Level 3, 558 Anzac Parade, Kingsford.
The club entrance is on Anzac Parade, directly opposite the Light Rail station. Take the lift or escalators up to Level 3. Parking is available on Anzac Parade past the club — club members can use the underground parking just to the right of Reception.
Entering the club
The Juniors Club operates under the Registered Clubs Act, so there are a few quick checks when you arrive. Our team will guide you through everything.
For your first assessment: Let reception staff know you're here for a swim assessment. You'll need to show ID to enter. Staff will direct you to Level 3 — let the Fitness Centre staff know you're there for a Swim Assessment and they'll point you in the right direction.
For your first lesson: All adults entering the club need to be members. Allow a little extra time at your first visit to sign up — it's quick and easy. Let the Level 3 Fitness Centre staff know you're there for a Swimming Lesson.
At the pool
Our team will be on deck to welcome you. Change rooms are on Level 3 — there's a female change room, male change room, and an accessible change room for families needing extra space. All change rooms have showers, hairdryers, and change tables.
A few things to know:
- Children must be supervised at all times while at the club
- Children must wear shoes and appropriate clothing covering their swimwear when entering and leaving
- Showers are limited to 3 minutes after class
- Children over 5 should use the change room matching their gender
