How To Transfer Your Enrolment

Need to switch up your lesson day or time, or ready to move your swimmer to their next level? Don't worry - we won't leave you high and dry! Using the Parent Portal to transfer classes is easy with these simple instructions.

When Do You Need to Transfer?


Schedule Changes: Switching day or time within the same level

Level Progression: Moving up after completing all 3 ribbons in their current level

Returning After Break: Getting back into classes after time away



What Happens When Your Child Completes A Level?


Celebration time! When your little swimmer achieves all 3 Ribbon Skills for their level, they're ready to dive into their next swimming adventure!


This shore makes us as happy as clams - there's nothing better than seeing a child master new skills and gain confidence in the water! Once your child earns all 3 ribbons, they immediately progress to the next level, you'll receive a congratulations email celebrating their amazing achievement, and your swimmer gets to experience that wonderful feeling of success and growth!




Step-by-Step Transfer Process


  1. Access Your Account
  • Log into the Parent Portal
  • Head to 'My Account'
  • Locate the child you want to transfer
  • Click on 'Enrolments'



  1. Start the Transfer
  • You'll see your child's current class
  • Select 'Transfer Enrolment'



  1. Choose Your New Class
  • All available classes in the appropriate level will appear
  • For same-level transfers: Choose any class in their current level
  • For level progression: Choose from classes in their new, higher level
  • Select the class you wish to transfer into



  1. Set Your Start Date
  • Add the date you wish to transfer into this new class
  • Click 'Yes, please transfer!'


What Happens Next?


If your child meets all requirements, you'll get a popup saying the transfer was successful and auto-approved! ✅


If your child doesn't meet the auto-approve requirements, you'll see that the transfer has been sent for our team to review.


Either way, once your class has been successfully transferred, you'll receive an email confirming all details :)


What If There's No Space In The New Level?


Don't worry! Your child can stay in their current level while we get them on the waitlist for their new level. They'll keep practicing their skills and having fun while we find the perfect spot.

Common Questions


"I don't see any available classes!" Don't worry - the tide turns regularly! Try checking at different times as availability changes when families make adjustments.


"Can I transfer to a different level without completing ribbons?" Transfers to higher levels require earning all 3 ribbons first - but you can always transfer within the same level for schedule changes.


"My child just earned their ribbons - what do I do?" You can either transfer them yourself using the steps above, or email us at info@inthedeep.com.au and we'll help you find the perfect new class!
